10)- 2014 Cadillac XTS
The XTS sedan is the newest addition to the Cadillac lineup. Larger than the CTS, the XTS offers the high level of quality and innovation that Cadillac owners are used to. With the debut of some of the most technologically advanced features in the brand's history, the XTS is definitely a modern luxury vehicle to consider.
09)- 2014 Bentley Continental Flying Spur
The Flying Spur is here by default. The latest restyling is a nightmare, with the nose looking like a bad clone of the old Continental. The tail attempts to be more formal and less coupe-like than before, but the looks from all angles are really messy and unlovable. The Flying Spur will be much more desirable if the 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V-8 from the GT is offered on the sedan as well.
8)- 2014 Jaguar XJ
Eighth place goes to the magnificent Jaguar XJ. It is finally an incredible machine with the light and nimble poise missing from the BMW above. The cabin is absolutely unforgettable, with a low dashboard and sumptuous luxury details that make even $80,000 seem like good value. For 2014, a better backseat infotainment and comfort setup is offered, as well as all-wheel drive on the supercharged V-6 XJ.
07)- 2014 BMW 7 Series
The BMW 7-series is the pinnacle of BMW sedans. A big luxury sedan that is loaded with state-of-the-art technology to keep you safe on today's roads. Available in rear-wheel drive, or xDrive all-wheel drive, the 750i and long-wheelbase 750Li are powered by a direct-injection, 445-hp 4.4-liter, twin-turbo V8 bolted to an eight-speed automatic transmission with manual shift control.
06)- 2014 Lexus LS 460
The Lexus LS 460 boasts available features and comfort typically only associated with ultra-expensive manufacturers. Features such as a power reclining rear seat complete with an ottoman and massager, and a built-in beverage cooler. The LS is available in either a regular wheelbase, or a long wheelbase version with limousine-like rear accommodations. A powerful 4.6-liter V8 sends power through a computer-controlled eight-speed automatic transmission to the rear wheels (all-wheel drive is also available).
05)- 2014 Aston Martin Rapide S
Rapide S introduces the all-new Rapide Gen 4 AM11 engine. The most technologically advanced, most powerful Rapide engine we’ve ever built. Incredible figures tell the story; a sprint time of only 4.9 secs, 620 Nm of torque and potent power of 558 PS - an increase of more than 17% over our previous model.
04)- 2014 Porsche Panamera
The Porsche Panamera and all-wheel drive Panamera 4 are powered by a 3.6-liter V6. Panamera S and all-wheel-drive Panamera 4S models come with a naturally aspirated 4.8-liter V8. Panamera GTS uses a slightly more powerful version of the 4.8-liter V8 found on the S and 4S. Panamera Turbo and Turbo S are powered by a turbocharged 4.8-liter V8. Panamera S Hybrid uses a 3.0-liter V6 paired with an electric motor. All come with Porsche's 7-speed, dual-clutch PDK automated transmission.
03)- 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class
In fact, this sedan is good enough to make Maybach’s death seem almost forgettable. Better still, the S550 starts at $93,825 including delivery, which seems a relative bargain given all the improvements over the previous generation. Once you start adding in the various packages and standalone options, the as-tested price rises to over $130,000, however repeating the full list of features here would be longer than the actual review itself.
02)- 2014 Audi A7
The A7 is a captivating five-door Sportback, combining coupe-like styling with the classic luxury of a sedan, then enhancing it with the added versatility of a rear power liftgate. Audi's Drive Select and venerated quattro all-wheel drive system provide dynamic handling, while high-grade materials with excellent fit and finish create an intimate interior environment.
2014 Rolls-Royce Ghost
Just before a refreshed Rolls-Royce Ghost debuts at the Geneva Motor Show in March, the British automaker has rolled out a performance edition of its "entry level" sedan with 593-hp underhood. The standard Ghost sedan wasn't exactly short on power until the announcement of the V-Specification version -- the company's 6.6-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine produces 563-hp and 575 lb-ft of stump-pulling torque in standard form. Yes, gone are the days when Rolls-Royce declined to disclose exact power figures and simply listed their powerplants' output as "adequate." Now Rolls-Royce is forced to compete in this cutthroat market with its performance stats, it seems.
