The FXX uses some technology developed from the Enzo, and combines it with some new developments from Ferrari and its suppliers. However, the car is only a part of the overall program. Customers pay $1.8 million, but are only allowed to drive the car on special track days which are approved by Ferrari. After they drive the car, the owners are entitled to be briefed by Ferrari on the car's performance. Ferrari's sister company, Maserati, has developed a similar car, the MC12 Corsa.
An evolution of the Enzo, in essence, the FXX shares some components with the original car, but numerous, significant developments are unique to the FXX.

SSC Ultimate Aero (Only five were made)
A few days ago, the Guinness Book of World Records stripped the Veyron Super Sport of its "fastest production car" record due a violation of the official rules. Apparently, the Veyron used to set the speed record had its speed limiter disable, thereby negating the “production car” part of the record. Now, with the Veyron officially losing its crown, the SSC Ultimate Aero re-claimed the title.
According to SSC this is not how it wanted to get the title back to them, but it is good enough until the SSC Tuatara will be ready to show what it can do.
SSC Ultimate Aero set its record back in 2007 on a public highway in Washington when it was able to hit an impressive top speed of 256.14 mph (412.22 km/h). The Ultimate Aero kept the title of the fastest production car until 2010 when a Veyron Super Sport was able to hit a top speed of 267.8 mph (430.98 km/h).

Only 2 R390 road cars were ever built- One was sold through a private auction, without any record, and the other one is stored at Nissan's Zama facility. The R390 Road Car was one of the first and fastest Japanese supercars, prior to the new Nissan R35 GT-R. The Koenigsegg CCX is a mid-engined sports car built by Koenigsegg Automotive AB. The project began with the aim of making a global car, designed and engineered to comply with global safety and environment regulations, particularly to enter the United States car market.[1] To sell cars in the US many alterations were made to the design of the CCR; the previously used Ford Modular engine was replaced by a Koenigsegg engine designed to run on 91 octane fuel, readily available in the United States, and to meet the Californian emission standards.
The name CCX is an abbreviation for Competition Coupé X, the X commemorating the 10th anniversary (X being the Roman numeral for ten) of the completion and test drive of the first CC vehicle in 1996.
The CCX was unveiled at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show, sporting body modifications to meet US regulations and a new 4.7 L twin supercharged V8 engine capable of producing 806 PS (593 kW; 795 hp) at 7000 rpm and 920 N·m (679 lb·ft) at 5700 rpm of torque while running on 91 octane gasoline. On March 6, 2007 Spyker announced the C12 Zagato at the Salon International de l'Auto in Geneva. The Milanese design house Zagato co-designed the model. The C12 Zagato featured all-new design elements inspired by Formula 1. Though the exterior styling is somewhat of a departure from the C8, retained features include: scissor doors, interior styling, and general aviation theme. The C12 Zagato is powered by a 6.0 L W12 engine sourced from VW Group (the same engine as featured in the Audi A8 and Volkswagen Phaeton). For the C12 Zagato, Spyker Cars have tuned the W12 to produce 500-bhp. The engine is mated to a five-speed automatic gearbox with paddle shifters. Although the nomenclature suggests otherwise, the C12 Zagato is not based upon the C12 LaTurbie prototype.
